As said Mahatma Gandhi « Keep your thoughts positive because your thoughts become your words. Keep your words positive because your words become your behavior. Keep your behavior positive because your behavior becomes your habits. Keep your habits positive because your habits become your values. Keep your values positive because your values become your destiny. »

I mentioned this technique of psychology in the article of self-hypnosis but it is also linked to the self-development part. It is no big deal because I want above all to devote time by explaining what is exactly autosuggestion. It is the action of influencing (consciously or not) to achieve a specific action. I added a precise French definition of this concept developed by Émile Coué (1859-1947) which is used in psychological therapies as well. In addition, he explains the principles and the mechanisms of autosuggestion in the second link herebelow.

I am practicing this technique to get a positive way of thinking, to make easier the achievement of any action, above all when I am in a difficult situation of my personal or professional life. To be efficient, this method of a « positive mind » must be accomplished for a minimum of 3 weeks, 2 times a day (after waking up and before going to bed). First, it is important to be relaxed and isolated for 10 minutes for instance. Then, you can start to repeat the positive sentences you have personally selected. Therefore, it is better to focus on 3 to 5 sentences and to repeat them for 30 minutes.

I think you understand what is now autosuggestion. It is not always easy to practice it because to work efficiently, you need to be self-disciplined, to be really motivated and to have the desire of changing the way you perceive some elements of your life.

You may find some very interesting sentences in the files below. You can also imagine them. The purpose is to write the most appropriate sentences for the situation in which you are currently. Once again, it works! So, I advise you to try and to persevere for these next weeks. You won’t be disappointed…

    • Hi Latesha, I am sorry but I didn’t understand your first question. I think the remarks and comments have been written here to help and foster me in continuing my blog.
